Welcome to the Victoria Gres online store!
The Victoria Gres brand was established back in 1993 in the city of Uzhgorod. It can be said that we were at the origins of Ukrainian fashion and made a significant contribution to the formation and development of the Ukrainian fashion industry.
I have always been inspired by the history of costumes, so in creating my collections, I don’t always rely on trends, but more on my own feelings and understanding of beauty.
All Victoria Gres clothing is lovingly and meticulously crafted in our own workshops in Ukraine.
In my work, I use natural fabrics: linen, silk, wool, cotton, on which I create prints myself. Also special is the use of prototypes of ancient laces. But not in the direct sense, but in an adapted, modern form – when they form the basis for fabric and patterns from the Victoria Gres brand. Combined with vintage textiles, embroideries, and fabrics, I create modern collections with a unique historical flair, which cannot be destroyed by seasonal trends and the conjuncture of global fashion processes.
My clients say that my clothing is timeless and they wear it with pleasure for 10 and even 15 years.
For me, this is the best sign of recognition. I am vehemently against fast fashion, where marketing overpowers art and compels the user to buy new and more… I consider this approach harmful and not eco-friendly. Therefore, I strive to create products that will not evoke a fleeting infatuation but a lasting and profound love that will unfold over time and from different perspectives. And I am very grateful to my clients for supporting my stance!
